Enhanced Fire Danger continues in NJ

Knowing that it was somewhat windy yesterday and wondering about fire danger, I went to some local media outlets to see what was going on. It turns out that the National Weather Service at Mt. Holly had issued a warning for enhanced fire danger yesterday. I found an article on the Asbury Park Press website yesterday (April 5th) reporting on this warning along and some brush fires, some were small on Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th in Monmouth, Middlesex, Mercer, and Ocean Counties. I don't know about wildland (brush) fires in other parts of New Jersey.

Enhanced Fire Danger continues today, Monday April 6th. The National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ issued this special weather statement at 10:46 AM on April 6th covering most of New Jersey, Delaware, the eastern shore of Maryland and adjoining areas of Pennsylvannia.
