...AN ELEVATED RISK FOR SPREAD OF FIRES THIS AFTERNOON...

DRIER AIR IS MOVING INTO THE AREA BEHIND A COLD FRONT THAT PASSED
OFF THE COAST THIS MORNING. RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES ARE EXPECTED
TO DROP TO BETWEEN 30 AND 40 PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON WITH NORTHWEST
WIND GUSTS IN THE 15 TO 20 MPH RANGE. THE COMBINATION OF LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY...GUSTY WINDS AND DRY FUELS WILL PRODUCE AN
ELEVATED RISK FOR THE SPREAD OF FIRES THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS
INTERIOR NEW JERSEY AND EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA.

According to my friends at the B10 NJ Wildland Fire Page all fire towers in New Jersey (Divisions A, B, and C) are staffed today, Friday March 11th.
