Sand Fire (Angeles National Forest, CA) -- July 27th

I suspect that many of you may have seen or heard some of the media coverage of the Sand Fire that is currently burning in and near the Angeles National Forest near Los Angeles, California. As I write this, according to the Sand Fire's Inciweb page (accessed on July 27th at 12:15 PM EDT), the fire has burned 38,346 acres and is at 40 percent containment, with aircraft working the fire. The Sand Fire is at 100 percent containment, and burned a total of 41.432 acres (see the Sand Fire's Inciweb page for more information.).
