I recently wrote that the New Jersey Forest Fire Service (NJFFS) sent a 20-person type 2 initial attack crew to New Mexico to assist in fighting wildfires in New Mexico, see my July 28th post. By now the crew is in New Mexico working wildfires, I don't exactly know where, that does not matter. What matters is that this crew, from NJFFS Division A (northern New Jersey) is providing important service helping New Mexico during this part of their wildfire season. You honor New Jersey with their service, stay safe.
