Unless there are significant changes to the status of the Microwave Fire, The New Jersey Forest Fire Service posted their last update on the Microwave Fire in Rockaway Township, Morris County the evening of October 23rd. Kudos to the NJ Forest Fire Service wildland firefighters and local mutual aid firefighters who worked on this fire. The fire burned 77 acres and is 90% contained and NJ Forest Fire wildland firefighters remain on scene. This is the final incident update from the NJFFS.
