Cell phone and smart phone users

November 18, 2024

Some features on this blog are not accessible in the mobile view many cell phone users use, such as some permanent information I share on the right side of my blog on the main page, along with the header and footer. You can access these features using the web view on your phone but the print is so tiny that it may not be useful to you. If you have the option of using a computer or a tablet to access this blog you will be able to see all the features on my blog.

You can see the blog entries and the pages on this blog in mobile view.

I rely on a certain amount of information from Government agencies, aviation contractors, and the like that is available on Facebook. Unfortunately, I only learned recently that the embed code Facebook provides to embed or share Facebook posts outside of Facebook, such as my blog, does not work on cell phones. I have gone in and added direct links to Facebook content in recent posts and will continue to do so in the future, however it is possible that these links may not display correctly if you do not have a Facebook account. Effective Nov 18th I am including more information in the text of my blog where I am embedding content and have direct links to Facebook content. Unfortunately, editing every post will be impossible, I am sorry. But if you are using a computer or tablet you should be able to see the Facebook content.

Effective November 18th, I am experimenting with embedding posts from the New Jersey Forest Fire Service's X (formerlyTwitter) account in hopes that all can read the post from X. Unfortunately you will not be able to read the replies without an account on X but I will try to summarize pertinent information from replies from the New Jersey Forest Fire. I could read the posts from the X platform on my cell phone.
