2024 New Jersey Wildfire Season: Wildfire in Brendon T. Byrne State Forest (Burlington County)

Thanks to the NJ Forest Fire Service and Mutual Aid Fire Departments for responding to this fire yesterday bringing the fire to 60 percent containment by early evening on October 16th. Nice job!

This just in, there is a multi-acre wildfire burning in the Brendon T. Byrne State Forest in Pemberton, Burlington County NJ. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate the road (Mary Ann Forge Rd.) cited by the New Jersey Forest Fire Service so I am unable to show you an approximate location for the wildfire. I expect another update from the NJ Forest Fire Service later this afternoon or this evening and will update this post at that time.
