Prescribed burning season continues in New Jersey with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service conducting prescribed burns on January 22nd and January 24 in the following areas:

- Woodland Twp - Brendan T Byrne State Forest
- Shamong Twp - Wharton State Forest (Hampton Furnace)
- Washington Twp - Wharton State Forest (Godfrey’s Bridge section)
- Tabernacle Twp - Wharton State Forest (Batona Field)
- Middlesex County
- South Brunswick - Pigeon Swamp State Park
- Monmouth County
- Wall Twp - Allaire State Park
- Ocean County
- Little Egg Harbor Twp - Nuggentown Rd
- Division C (Southern New Jersey)
- Atlantic County
- Estell Manor - Atlantic County Park
- Camden County
- Winslow - Albertson Rd
- Cape May County
- Middle Twp - Reeds Beach Rd
- Division B (Central New Jersey)
- Monmouth County, Wall - Allaire State Park
Some of you may not be familiar with NJ geography, so I got a screen shot of a map of New Jersey from the NJ Department of State and a listing of NJ Forest Fire Service Divisions by County from the NJ Forest Fire Service Fire Danger & Restrictions page. This is somewhat crude, but I hope it helps to provide a geographic context.
