All of the staff at Bottom Hospital -- physicians, midwives, clinical officers, RNs, laboratory staff, administrative staff -- are saints.
I especially want to thank the OB/GYN who took the time to meet with us that day, Dr. Medguid.
Dr. Medguid, I will never forget you.
I have blogged about aerial wildland firefighting since 2009. I am not a firefighter and am not a pilot, just an interested bystander who wants to learn more and share what I learn here. Join me here as I blog on the aircraft and the pilots who fight wildland fires from the air in support of crews on the ground. I also blog on concerns affecting fire crews on the ground as well as other aviation and meteorology issues. Learn what it takes to do jobs that are staffed by the best of the best.

Tyler, the account of your trip, thus far, is illuminating and inspiring. The photographs are stunning - especially those of the children. If you're able, please provide the address of the hospital. I'd like to send a modest contribution in support of Dr. Medguid's work. Be well, dear friend. David
David,
When I was in despair, wondering if I could do anything to help, I thought of your post and knew that my writing is the way that I can help.
